Hou, YiFan is assuming her role of chess promotion by visiting asia 3 selected countries on 12/21-30 棋后侯逸凡訪問亞洲3國推廣西洋棋

At the age of 12, she became the youngest ever player to take part at the FIDE Women’s World Championship (Yekaterinburg 2006) and at the Chess Olympiad (Torino 2006).In June 2007, she became China’s youngest ever National Women’s Champion. She achieved the titles of Woman FIDE Master in January 2004, Woman Grandmaster in January 2007, International Master in September 2008, for reaching the final of the Women’s World Championship. In 2010, she became the youngest World Chess Champion in history (men’s or women’s) by winning the Women’s World Championship in Hatay, Turkey at the age of 16.

By visiting the 3 selected countries, Singapore, Taiwan and Indonesia,  at the last 10 days of of Dec. to promote chess education as a perfect ending of 2012 !

For the visiting, we will leverage her reputation and knowledge of chess to arrange itinerary & activities so. The task force of Chinese Taipei chess Association will create most of value with Hou’s visiting as below:

12/27 : PM  –  Taichung –  Government visiting

12/28 : AM –  Taipei –  School visiting and press interview  ; PM – New Taipei City : School visiting ; Night – Chess Party 

12/29 : personal activities

12/30 : departure

For Taiwan players and chess fans, you may join the session of CHESS PARTY at 12/28 night activity to meet Hou, YiFan in person.

Note: The target is 100 seats include task force of Chinese Taipei chess Association !
